After School K-3 Tutor Needed!

Part-Time K-3 Tutor Wanted:

Eager to help elementary students succeed in reading, writing, and math?

We are currently seeking part-time tutors for a role in our learning center at GradePower Learning - Austin South. This position is perfect for anyone who loves working with younger students, enjoys teaching early reading and math skills.

Tutors at GradePower Learning do not have to lesson plan before class, as all lessons are pre-planned. Applicants will be fully trained in our proprietary philosophy and methods.

Position Requirements:

Available hours include: Monday - Thursday from 3:30pm - 7:00pm, Fridays from 3:30pm - 5:30pm, and Saturday mornings from 9am - 12pm. Your students will love working with you, and being reliable is a must.

This role is in-person. You must be able to commute to this location. This is not an online position. Relocation packages are not available. Background check is mandatory.

We encourage you to apply if you have the majority of the following requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field
• Teaching certification an asset

Experience:

• Experience working with 5-8 year olds
• Strong English written and oral communication skills 
• Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time

Responsibilities:

You will work directly with students as an Interactive Coach with the following responsibilities:

• Teaching up to 3 students at a time at different levels
• Following the GradePower Learning methodologies and philosophies
• Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $20 - $22 / hour based on experience

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday afternoons
• Saturday mornings
