Teacher Wanted! Homeschool Day Academy
The perfect part time position!
Day Academy at GradePower Learning Palm Harbor is a homeschool support program for students in 2nd-8th grade.
We need a passionate, energetic instructor who enjoys making a difference in the lives of students without the headaches of a formal school system. Students work on their own personalized program at their own pace, so you know you are helping them make the gains they were unable to make in the traditional classroom.
All parent contact is done by Day Academy coordinators, so all you have to do is teach. Our curriculum is proprietary, and there is minimal planning required.
Schedule: Mondays - Fridays, 9:50 am - 1:30 PM. Additional hours are available in our after school tutoring program.
This is an in-person position. Relocation packages are not available.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree is required.
Requirements:
Classroom and/or FLVS experience is not required, but preferred.

You will work directly with students as an Interactive Coach with the following responsibilities:

In this position, you will play a key role in helping students develop their self-confidence and self-esteem. The rewards of helping children overcome academic hurdles and realize their inner potential can be very fulfilling. You will be rewarded with smiling faces and high-fives during every shift.
